How to organize work of different generations
Nowadays, the labor market is overwhelmed with the workforce of different generations. There are at least four generations that have to work together. They are Traditionalists, the Baby Boomers, Generation X and Generation Y. For instance, Traditionalists, people who are born between 1925 and 1946, are known for their conservatism, loyalty, value rules and traditions. The Baby Boomers generation (born in 1946-1964), usually, is quite optimistic and competitive. They value education and work. Generation X includes people born between 1964 and 1981. Usually, they are characterized as selfish, cynical, and impatient people. However, they are quite flexible and have no problems working with technologies. Members of Generation Y are people born in the period of 1982-2002. They are described as spoiled and technology-dependent individuals. However, they are participative, fast-paced, and multitasking. This info can be very helpful when it is necessary to organize work of different generations.
